Job summary

Outpost is seeking a Head of Legal to build and scale the regulatory and legal foundation of a fast-growing fintech. Based in Amsterdam (with London exposure), you’ll own commercial contracts, payments regulation, AML, corporate governance, and fundraising, while coordinating with external counsel as needed.

You’ll report to the CEO and work with the leadership team to shape global expansion, ensure regulatory compliance, and enable revenue growth across markets.

Qualifications

• In-house legal experience in payments/fintech.
• Deep EMI/PSD2 knowledge and payments regulation.
• Experience drafting and negotiating complex commercial contracts.
• Experience with fundraising and corporate governance.

Responsibilities

• Own commercial agreements and negotiation across enterprise deals.
• Lead payments regulation initiatives and regulatory posture.
• Oversee AML/compliance onboarding programs.
• Drive corporate governance, fundraising, and board matters.
• Coordinate with external counsel in new jurisdictions.
• Support international expansion and licensing structures.
