Job summary

Dümmen Orange EU is seeking a Senior Legal Counsel IP to manage the group’s IP rights worldwide and support R&D, sales, marketing and management. You will draft and negotiate complex IP agreements and coordinate enforcement across a global footprint.

The role requires a master’s degree in IP law, 5–10 years of post-qualification IP experience, and fluency in English and Dutch. The position offers hybrid working arrangements and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in IP law is required.
• 5-10 years of post-qualification IP experience.
• Fluent in English and Dutch, both written and spoken; able to draft complex legal documents.

Responsibilities

• Manage the group’s IP registrations and renewals worldwide, with external lawyers and notaries.
• Handle IP disputes (litigation) globally, with internal and external parties.
• Draft and review license, trial, R&D, IP transfer and coexistence agreements; negotiate terms with third parties.
• Provide IP-related legal advice to colleagues worldwide.
• Implement IP policies and provide awareness training.
• Develop and implement IP enforcement strategies and liaise with industry orgs as needed.
• Maintain proper records of IP, IP agreements, and compliance via IT systems.
