Fugro-Geoteam AS in the Netherlands seeks a Hosting Lead to define, govern and maintain global hosting standards for all on-prem and private cloud environments. You will drive consistency across regional teams, align with security and architectural direction, and manage lifecycle plans.

You will lead governance frameworks, establish platform baselines and roadmaps with Architecture and Security, and ensure compliant, auditable hosting solutions across the enterprise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of hosting and cloud services experience.
• Proven experience defining and governing platform standards across regions.
• Ability to lead across teams and communicate in English.
• Certifications in ITIL, VMware, RHCE/Microsoft, CISSP/CISM or similar.

Responsibilities

• Define, publish and manage global hosting standards across OS, hypervisors, middleware, storage and tooling.
• Establish governance frameworks including policies, guardrails, RACI models and exception processes with compensating controls.
• Develop and maintain platform baselines (OS hardening, patch cadence, TLS standards, logging, replication).
• Create operating models for each hosting platform, aligned with security policies and lifecycle plans.
• Build a joint roadmap with Architecture and Security; validate impacts within boundaries.
• Assess opportunities to reduce hosting risk and manage migrations or lifecycles.
• Evaluate vendor and platform options, document fit and risks, guide adoption.
• Manage vendor relationships, contracts and license utilisation.
• Set KPIs and dashboards and drive remediation with regional teams.
• Prepare for audits, maintain evidence, lead remediation plans and communicate standards.
