Job summary
Viatris is seeking a Senior Director of Biostatistics to shape the statistical strategy for innovative clinical development programs, influencing study design, regulatory submissions, and lifecycle decisions while leading a global team of statisticians.
The role partners with cross-functional stakeholders to strengthen the strategic impact of Biostatistics, driving capability building and innovation to meet future business needs.
Qualifications
- PhD or Master’s degree in Statistics, Biostatistics, Mathematics, or related field.
- Extensive clinical drug development experience in pharma/biotech/CRO.
- Strong biostatistical leadership across multiple therapeutic areas.
- Experience supporting Phase II–IV trials and regulatory submissions.
- Leadership and mentoring of statisticians in global environments.
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic statistical leadership for clinical development programs from design through regulatory submissions and lifecycle management.
- Lead, coach, and develop a global team of statisticians.
- Lead statistical design, analysis, interpretation, and communication of trial data.
- Review protocols, SAPs, CSRs; guide regulatory submissions and responses to authorities.
- Oversee statistical deliverables, ensure quality, and maintain regulatory compliance.
