Job summary

Outpost Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Legal Counsel to join our fintech team. You will report to the Head of Tax & Legal and handle commercial contracts, payments regulation, AML, corporate governance, and fundraising. The role offers growth as the company scales globally and expands into new markets.

You’ll lead legal work from day one, drafting agreements, advising on regulatory questions, building compliance programmes, and supporting fundraising efforts as Outpost enters new jurisdictions.

Qualifications

• In-house legal experience in payments/fintech is required.
• Exposure to payments regulation, AML and corporate governance is a plus.
• Ability to draft and negotiate contracts and advise on regulatory questions.

Responsibilities

• Draft and negotiate commercial agreements including MSAs and vendor contracts.
• Advise on regulatory matters across payments, AML and governance.
• Help build and maintain compliance programmes and processes.
• Support fundraising activities with term sheets and investment documents.
• Contribute to international expansion and entity structuring.
