Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking a Principal Delivery Lead to steer a portfolio of complex projects across our real estate, infrastructure and natural resources sectors. You will provide strategic leadership, ensure safe and high-quality delivery, and develop long-term client relationships while supporting business growth.

The role requires fluency in Dutch and English, with strong governance, profitability, and People leadership capabilities.

Qualifications

• Requires degree in engineering, construction, project management or related discipline.
• NEBOSH or equivalent health and safety qualification.
• Fluent in Dutch and English.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of a portfolio of projects from opportunity through to completion.
• Provide strategic direction and governance across multiple project teams.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to agreed quality standards.
• Drive consistency in project delivery through best practice, governance and continuous improvement.
• Champion a culture of accountability, collaboration and high performance.
• Build trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders.
• Act as an executive sponsor for key client accounts.
• Understand client objectives and translate into successful delivery solutions.
• Identify opportunities to enhance client value and grow long-term partnerships.
• Own the financial performance of the delivery portfolio.
• Drive profitable delivery through forecasting, resource management and risk mitigation.
• Support work-winning activity through client engagement and bid leadership.
• Ensure compliance with governance, quality, health & safety and regulatory requirements.
• Lead project reviews, assurance activities and performance reporting.
• Drive lessons learned and continuous improvement.
• Promote innovation, digital delivery and modern project management practices.
• Lead, coach and develop Project Managers and delivery teams.

Education
