Job summary

Just Eat Takeaway.com is seeking a hands-on Compliance Lead to strengthen the control environment and translate regulatory requirements into repeatable practices. You will lead the ethics and compliance programme and manage a small team to embed compliance into daily operations across ABAC, sanctions, and whistleblowing.

You will partner with Partnerships, Commercial, Operations and Finance, providing practical guidance and ensuring readiness for scrutiny.

Qualifications

• Hands-on compliance programmes integrated into daily business.
• Business-partnering skills to make compliance practical.
• Experience in ABAC, sanctions, conflicts of interest, gifts, code of conduct and whistleblowing.
• Experience leading or developing a small team.
• Sound judgement on monitoring, investigations, remediation and escalation.
• Knowledge of payments and financial-crime compliance; fintech preferred.
• Experience in consumer, marketplace, platform or regulated business.

Responsibilities

• Lead JET's ethics and compliance programme across ABAC, sanctions, conflicts of interest, gifts and hospitality, code of conduct and whistleblowing.
• Act as a hands-on business partner, embedding practical compliance into day-to-day operations.
• Build and lead a small compliance team with clear priorities and quality delivery.
• Own third-party risk management, due diligence, screening and re-screening.
• Run monitoring, testing, remediation tracking and reporting for leadership visibility.
• Deliver compliance training and advise on practical implementation with stakeholders.
• Support investigations, audits and regulator-facing materials when needed.
