Job summary

Fygi is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Engineer to join a large, highly automated logistics site in Utrecht. You will diagnose electrical faults, perform preventive and corrective maintenance, and work on sensors, motors, drives and conveyors.

The role requires an electrical/mechatronics background, English communication, and comfort with on-the-job learning. A 5-shift rotation and extensive training are provided.

Qualifications

• MBO 3/4 level in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics or equivalent with practical maintenance experience.
• Strong practical knowledge of electrical troubleshooting and mechanical basics for sensors, motors, drives and conveyors.
• Experience with Siemens S7/TIA Portal, Profinet or CAN-bus is strongly preferred.
• Good spoken and written English; Dutch not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on highly automated equipment.
• Troubleshoot faults and investigate root causes to prevent recurrence.
• Work in a shift team, collaborating with colleagues on technical tasks.
• Document maintenance, repairs and shift handovers in English.
