Job summary

Kintec Global Recruitment is seeking a QA/QC Inspector for generator sets to ensure compliance with the Customer's technical and quality requirements, proper documentation, and readiness for shipment.

You will inspect at supplier/manufacturer facilities, review drawings, identify non-conformities, and report findings to Customer and QA/QC teams, with strong mechanical and electrical inspection skills and English proficiency.

Qualifications

• :Previous experience as QA/QC Inspector, Quality Inspector, Mechanical Inspector, Electrical Inspector, or similar.
• :Good knowledge of both mechanical and electrical systems.
• :Ability to read and understand mechanical and electrical drawings, datasheets, equipment specifications, and inspection documentation.
• :Experience with inspection checklists, ITPs, quality records, and NCR management.
• :Good understanding of electrical connections, cable terminations, switchgear, and circuit breakers.
• :Good understanding of mechanical piping, fittings, bolted connections, and torque requirements.
• :Ability to identify poor workmanship, installation defects, and deviations from specifications.
• :Experience with supplier/manufacturer inspections and factory-based quality control activities.
• :Ability to work independently and interact professionally with suppliers and Customer representatives.
• :Good reporting and documentation skills.
• :Good command of written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed inspections of generator sets in accordance with the Customer's inspection checklist.
• Verify identification and traceability of main components (serial/model numbers, equipment data).
• Verify physical condition, installation, assembly, and workmanship.
• Identify and record non-conformities, defects, missing items, and deviations from requirements.
• Classify findings by severity (Critical/ Major).
• Complete inspection records with Pass/ Fail/ N/A and comments with photographic evidence.
• Ensure findings are recorded and followed up until closure.
• Review quality and manufacturing documentation; verify inspections and tests.
• Interface with Supplier's Quality and Manufacturing teams for corrective actions.
• Report inspection results to Customer and QA-QC team.
