Job summary

Schuberg Philis is seeking an experienced GenAI Python Engineer to design, build and operate AI platforms powering critical systems. You will join a small, self-managing team focused on delivering scalable, reliable GenAI applications in production environments.

The role requires hands-on expertise with Python, GenAI frameworks, and deployment in production, working with models like GPT, Llama and Claude. You will help drive architectural decisions and contribute to a long-term technical vision

Qualifications

• At least 6 years of proven commercial experience in a professional software engineering environment.
• Designing, building and maintaining Generative AI applications, including deploying and operating them in production using Python.
• Hands-on experience with GenAI frameworks, libraries or platforms such as LangChain, TensorFlow, PyTorch or FastAPI.
• Working with Generative AI models in production environments, both open-source and proprietary, including models such as GPT, Llama and Claude.
• Implementing and optimizing core GenAI components, including vector databases, embeddings, chunking strategies and evaluation frameworks.
• Driving architectural decisions and contributing to the long-term technical vision of a platform or product.
• Leading technology adoption and change management initiatives to ensure cutting-edge solutions deliver measurable business value.
