Job summary

Zanders, a global financial consulting firm, is hiring a GenAI Consultant/Manager to deliver enterprise-grade AI solutions for banks, insurers and financial institutions across Europe. You will design and implement agent frameworks, RAG architectures and production-ready LLM tooling.

You will work directly with client stakeholders, translate AI Act and model risk requirements into practical guidance, and lead engagements end-to-end across client priorities while mentoring junior consultants.

Qualifications

• Hands-on delivery of LLM systems with production-grade results.
• Strong Python programming skills.
• Experience with Azure and Databricks cloud infrastructure.
• Ability to explain complex decisions to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience in financial services or other regulated industries.
• Fluent English.

Responsibilities

• Build GenAI solutions for clients including agent frameworks and RAG architectures.
• Govern AI risks and translate regulations into practical guidance.
• Advise on deployment strategies and architecture roadmaps.
• Own workstreams: plan, manage quality and timelines, raise risks.
• Balance concurrent engagements and adapt to client priorities.
• Work directly with client stakeholders to explain decisions.
• Develop relationships with client teams and identify opportunities to help.
• Contribute to internal thought leadership and market-facing outputs.
• For Manager level: lead engagements end-to-end and own client relationships.
