Qualifications

• Completed MBO qualification (Engineering, Safety or Logistics).
• Preferably certified as Gas Measurement Specialist (internal training available).
• Proficiency in Dutch and English, both written and spoken.
• Valid Category B driving licence.
• Strong personality with customer- and service-oriented mindset.
• Structured and accurate working style with boundary awareness.

Responsibilities

• Perform gas measurements on-site at customer locations (sea containers, trucks, warehouses) and interpret results.
• Advise customers on safe procedures and working conditions.
• Process measurement data digitally and prepare reports, including issuing certificates.

Gas Measurement Specialist (MGK) at Customs Support Group

For our Gas Measurements department in the Central Netherlands region, we are looking for two new colleagues who will help us ensure safe working environments and situations.

Customs Support Safety specializes in the challenges associated with gases found in sea containers, trucks, and warehouses. Our services include gas measurements, forced ventilation of containers, unloading containers and trucks using independent breathing apparatus, risk assessments, particulate matter measurements, consulting and training services, and acting as an external ADR safety advisor.

We are the national partner for fast and reliable gas measurements. We work with the most advanced portable measurement technology (Gasmet FTIR), and through continuous innovation, we remain at the forefront of the industry.

Your Role as a Gas Measurement Specialist

As a Gas Measurement Specialist, you will perform gas measurements on-site at customer locations (sea containers, trucks, and warehouses) to ensure safe working conditions and environments. You will interpret measurement results and advise customers on the conditions under which entry and unloading activities can safely take place.

Requirements

What You Bring

• A completed MBO (secondary vocational education) qualification, preferably in Engineering, Safety, or Logistics.
• Preferably certified as a Gas Measurement Specialist (internal training program available).
• Proficiency in Dutch and English, both written and spoken.
• A valid Category B driving licence.
• A strong personality, customer- and service-oriented mindset, and good communication skills.
