ESA is offering an internship in the PRODEX/SCI-FEA context at ESTEC in Noordwijk, the Netherlands. You will contribute to nuANCESTOR mission definition, working with ESA engineers and external industrial partners on optics, detectors, and related subsystems.

You must be a university student, preferably in your final or second-to-last year of a Master’s program, and remain enrolled for the duration of the internship.

Qualifications

• Must be a university student, preferably in final or second-to-last year of a Master’s degree.
• Enrollment at university for the full duration of the internship.
• Working languages are English and French; knowledge of another ESA language is an asset.
• Background in astronomical space instrumentation including optics, detectors, thermal and electronics is an asset.

Responsabilités

• Work on mission definition for nuANCESTOR with the institute and industrial partners.
• Interface with ESA technical experts on various sub-system developments.
• Support the monitoring of an industrial activity related to nuANCESTOR.
