Job summary

Middle Point B.V. in Vlissingen/Schiedam seeks a role bridging Engineering and IT, translating needs into functional Cadmatic Hull solutions.

You will configure project environments, manage libraries and data, and support users across Cadmatic Hull and PLM/CAD. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor in Engineering (shipbuilding preferred), Cadmatic Hull proficiency, PLM knowledge, and strong English; Dutch is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or proven competence in Engineering, preferably Shipbuilding.
• Strong proficiency with the Cadmatic platform, especially Cadmatic Hull.
• Knowledge of PLM principles and experience with functional application management.
• Fluency in English; Dutch language skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Translate engineering needs into functional specifications for application development.
• Set up and configure project environments within Cadmatic Hull.
• Manage Cadmatic Hull catalogues, libraries, specifications and project data.
• Provide functional support to Cadmatic Hull and PLM/CAD users.

Structural

In this role, you act as the bridge between Engineering and IT, translating engineering requirements into functional application solutions. You will support Cadmatic Hull users, configure project environments, manage engineering data and libraries, and contribute to the continuous improvement of CAD/PLM processes throughout the product lifecycle.

• Translate engineering needs into functional specifications for application development
• Set up and configure project environments within Cadmatic Hull
• Manage Cadmatic Hull catalogues, libraries, specifications and project data
• Provide functional support to Cadmatic Hull and PLM/CAD users
• Analyse application issues with stakeholders and develop suitable solutions
• Manage interfaces between Cadmatic Hull and other applications
• Maintain user access rights within the application
• Develop and implement application processes and functionalities
• Coordinate with software suppliers and knowledge partners
• Organise user training and prepare Cadmatic documentation, manuals and training materials
• Bachelor’s degree or proven competence in Engineering, preferably Shipbuilding
• Strong proficiency with the Cadmatic platform, particularly Cadmatic Hull
• Knowledge of PLM principles and experience with functional application management is preferred
• Good command of English; Dutch is an advantage
• Ability to work at both Vlissingen and Schiedam locations
• Excellent antecedents, as a pre-employment security screening is a standard part of the recruitment procedure
