Full Stack Type Script Developer (Node.js, Nest.js, React, Next.js)

OrangeMelons is a tech company from Amsterdam that supports Dutch businesses in their digital transformation by connecting them with top IT talent from the Western Balkans. We provide tailored solutions, ensuring the right professionals are in the right roles with seamless communication and a personal touch.

We are looking for an experienced Full-Stack TypeScript Developer to work on an exciting project focused on developing software for intermediaries and insurers.

The project is preparing to launch a fully revamped, high-performance platform, transitioning from a low-code solution. As a developer, you will play a key role in completing this project and supporting the migration of their first customers to the new platform by early 2025.

Your Role

• Design, develop, and maintain a modern platform with Next.js and React.
• Build scalable backend systems with Node.js and Nest.js.
• Use TypeScript for both frontend and backend development.
• Develop efficient database schemas and queries (MongoDB experience is a plus).
• Collaborate with designers, product managers, and developers to ensure high standards.
• Oversee all software development phases from design to deployment.
• Ensure high performance and responsiveness of backend and frontend systems.

What You Bring

• 3+ years of full-stack development experience.
• Expertise in TypeScript, Next.js, React, and Node.js.
• Familiarity with PrimeReact or similar pre-built component libraries.
• Experience with Jest or Cypress and authentication mechanisms like OAuth or JWT.
• Excellent English communication skills.
