Job summary

Doghouse Recruitment client in Utrecht is hiring a Senior Full Stack Developer to own end-to-end features in a growing SaaS platform. You’ll work across Node.js/TypeScript backend and React frontend, deploy to GCP, and drive production readiness in a true startup environment.

You’ll join an international engineering team, report to the CTO, and enjoy hybrid work with three days in the office in the Netherlands; visa sponsorship, pension, and 30% ruling support are available.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of full stack development experience.
• Strong backend focus with Node.js and TypeScript.
• Comfortable owning features from design to production.
• Experience with GCP or other cloud platforms is a plus.

Are you looking for a full-stack product role where you can take ownership, build new features, and continuously improve the product instead of just maintaining it?

My client is a SaaS E-Learning (B2B) company based in Utrecht, creating a product for performance reviews. They are supporting thousands of SME customers across Europe. The product is expanding rapidly, and to support this growth they are launching a fifth development team. This team will focus on building a new compensation transparency module within the existing application. You’ll join an international engineering team of 12 in a true startup environment. There are no separate cloud or support teams. Engineers take full responsibility. You build it, deploy it to GCP, and run it in production. High ownership, short lines, real impact. The stack is modern and pragmatic. Backend is centered around Node.js and TypeScript, with React on the frontend. Everything runs on GCP, with CI/CD via GitLab.

As Senior Full Stack Developer, you report directly to the CTO. You’ll work across the stack, contribute to architectural decisions, and take end-to-end ownership of features in a growing and evolving codebase.

Your profile

• 3+ years of full stack development experience
• Strong backend focus with solid Node.js and TypeScript skills
• Comfortable owning features from design to production
• Experience with GCP or other cloud platforms is a plus
• Based in the Netherlands
• Available hybrid (3 days per week in the office)
