Job description

At BYBORRE we're looking for a Full-stack Developer to join our team. Are you a full-stack developer and enthusiastic about using your skills, knowledge and ideas to make a positive impact? Are you looking for a unique experience which bridges the physical and digital world?

Our Digital Product team is growing as we scale our textile creation platform—empowering anyone to design textiles and run their own conscious production. We're looking for a full-stack developer who is passionate about building high-quality digital experiences and thrives in a collaborative, mission-driven environment.

In this role, you'll spend the majority of your time actively contributing to the codebase—working across both the frontend and backend to bring our product vision to life. You’ll collaborate closely with a product designer, a creative technologist and a developer to shape features from concept to delivery.

Together, we’re on a journey toward a healthier textile industry—with more creative freedom, less waste, and textiles designed with intent. If you're excited to play a central role in shaping the next phase of our platform, we’d love to hear from you.

About The Team
  • Be part of a close-knit and international team (~25 people) based in Amsterdam
  • Work across disciplines—from textile experts to operations to the marketing team.
  • As a full-stack Developer, you will be a part of our Digital Product team, working closely with another full-stack developer, a creative technologist and a digital product designer.
  • Report directly to our COO
What You’ll Be Doing
  • Contribute directly to the development of our platform, with a focus on front-end code
  • Collaborate closely with the product designer and the developers to scope and implement features that align with our roadmap
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code that supports a seamless user experience
  • Participate in sprint planning, technical discussions, and code reviews to help drive high-quality delivery
  • Work side-by-side with the team—as a hands-on contributor who takes ownership
  • Help evolve the product by offering technical insights and suggesting improvements within the existing product vision
  • Document technical decisions and implementation details to support team alignment and maintain knowledge continuity
Skills & Experience

What we’re looking for in the ideal candidate. Not all of these are must haves, so please take the leap to get in touch even if you don’t feel you meet all criteria.

  • 3+ years work experience developing full-stack digital products
  • Familiarity with our stack or similar technologies:
    • Proficient in JavaScript, and experience with Vue.js or a similar framework
    • Experience with Node.js; familiarity with TypeScript is a plus
    • Proven ability to implement functional and scalable APIs
    • Comfortable with CSS and SCSS, experience with tailwind is a plus
  • Ability to connect vision and strategy to execution and deliver results
  • Clear communicator and structured thinker who brings clarity to complex work
  • Enthusiastic about working in a collaborative, low-ego environment
  • Good eye for detail and design implementation
  • Proficient in English (our studio language)
  • Based in the Netherlands and able to join us in our Amsterdam studio a few times per week (hybrid setup)
Bonus If You Have
  • Built something end-to-end at work or as a side project
  • Familiarity with agile and lean product development
Benefits
  • Be part of a globally focused, innovative scale-up changing the textile industry
  • Work with an international team of experts across disciplines

  • Salary based on experience and responsibilities
  • Personal development program and growth opportunities
  • 25 holidays per year and a pension plan
  • Travel expenses covered (for those commuting from outside Amsterdam)
  • Daily healthy lunch, great coffee, snacks, and drinks at the studio
  • A steep learning curve and an unforgettable adventure
  • Laptop, accessories, and all the tools you need
