Job summary

Merkle is seeking a hands‑on Full‑Stack Developer to own the internal tools and AI‑driven applications end‑to‑end—from backend logic to frontend interfaces. Qualifications

• 3+ years in software engineering (full‑stack, AI, or platform development)
• Experience with modern JavaScript/TypeScript stacks (React, Next.js, Node.js)
• Experience with Docker and self‑hosted infrastructure
• Knowledge of multi‑tenant application patterns
• Familiarity with backend‑as‑a‑service platforms (Supabase, Firebase) for auth, database, storage, and serverless functions
• Exposure to alternative JS/TS runtimes (Deno, Bun)

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain the full application stack across internal tools: backend, database, auth, and frontend
• Design and implement authentication and access control (SSO with SAML/Okta, multi‑tenant data isolation)
• Write and maintain database schemas, migrations, and access policies (PostgreSQL with RLS)
• Build and manage serverless backend functions for application logic and API integrations
• Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployments across DEV/UAT/PROD
• Build and maintain modern frontends (React, Vite, TypeScript)
• Debug and resolve issues across the stack (5xx errors, networking)
• Collaborate with AI/LLM team to integrate model outputs into the app
• Take ownership from idea → build → run → improve
