Responsibilities

Quality Process

• Monitoring product quality performance, trends and customer feedback
• Consolidating quality insights and following up on recurring issues
• Assisting in escalating structural concerns to suppliers or internal teams

Communication & Alignment

• Sharing weekly quality updates with Quality Inspectors, Operations, and Commercial
• Acting as a first point of contact for operational questions regarding quality expectations
• Preparing clear summaries and materials for internal meetings or supplier discussions

Team Planning & Daily Structure

• Coordinating daily priorities for Quality inspectors and ensuring smooth task execution
• Supporting onboarding, guidance, and alignment of Quality team members

Process Improvements

• Helping refine and document quality workflows and routines
• Identifying opportunities to increase efficiency and consistency in daily operations

Product sampling & competitor benchmarking

• Coordinating sampling activities (ordering, preparation, follow-up)
• Analyzing quality issues directly on the product, identifying the root cause
• Consolidating results and helping identify areas requiring further attention

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Food Technology, Food Safety and Quality Management or related field is preferred
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Fruit & Veg quality or a closely related field
• Strong organisational and coordination skills
• Excellent communication abilities; clear, structured and objective
• Curious and willing to learn about fruit & veg quality processes and supply chains
• Hands‑on, proactive, solutions‑focused attitude
• Fluent in English; Dutch is a plus
• Working location is in our Distribution Centre in Geldermalsen
• Comfortable in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment
