Job summary

ITProposal is seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect (Frontend) in Amsterdam to lead frontend architectural initiatives using ReactJS and Next.js. The role focuses on scalable, high-traffic digital products such as booking flows and customer portals.

You will operate in a fast-paced Agile environment on a 6-month contract, starting 01 Oct 2026 in Amsterdam. The ideal candidate brings deep frontend architecture, hands-on engineering capability, and strong collaboration skills.

Qualifications

• 6–8 years of frontend development experience.
• Experience with ReactJS and Next.js.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, and SASS/CSS.
• Experience with Nx monorepos.
• Experience with test automation using Jest.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
• English communication skills; Dutch not required.

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, and develop frontend solutions using ReactJS and Next.js.
• Build scalable, high-performance interfaces for high-traffic digital products.
• Work within Nx monorepos to structure and optimize large codebases.
• Implement automated testing using Jest for reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Contribute to frontend best practices, performance optimization, and code quality.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders.
