Job summary

HireHi, a Netherlands-based frontend software company, is seeking a skilled Frontend Engineer to help build interfaces used by millions and shape frontend architecture, including the component library built with RekaUI and AppShell.

You will collaborate in a Scrum team with design, backend, QA and product, focus on performance budgets and Core Web Vitals, and contribute to knowledge sharing and code quality.

Qualifications

• Currently live in the Netherlands.
• Fluent English.
• Solid HTML, CSS and JavaScript fundamentals.
• Experience with Vue.js.
• Understanding of performance as a feature and Core Web Vitals.
• Value testing and documentation.
• Strong communication and ability to thrive in collaborative teams.
• T-shaped engineer.
• Nice to have: Nuxt.js, Flutter, Dutch language skills.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain interfaces used by millions of users.
• Collaborate with product, design, backend, QA in a Scrum environment.
• Review PRs and provide feedback.
• Contribute to frontend architecture and standards, including the component library built with RekaUI and AppShell.
• Communicate with stakeholders to balance product goals and performance budgets.
• Monitor and improve performance, including Core Web Vitals.
• Share knowledge within the team and across the frontend guild.
• Maintain knowledge of the component library and AppShell, suggest improvements.
