Job summary

DC Engineers B.V. zoekt een Senior Front-end Developer voor detachering in Amsterdam. Je ontwerpt en implementeert de Commodity purchase flow in Angular, bouwt veilige, snelle interfaces en zorgt voor responsive behavior over devices.

In samenwerking met product, UX en back-end lever je schaalbare oplossingen, ondersteun je A/B-tests en CI/CD-pijplijnen, en draag je bij aan een centrale componentenbibliotheek. Vereisten: Angular v20+, TS, SCSS, RxJS, NGXS, Jest/Vitest en Cypress.

Qualifications

• Min. 5 jaar ervaring met Angular (v20+), TS, SCSS en HTML5.
• Ervaring of interesse in AI-tools ontwikkelen.
• Ervaring met NGXS of gelijkwaardig state management en REST/BFF.
• Unit testing met Jest/Vitest en E2E testing met Cypress.
• Kennis van web components (@angular/elements) en lazy-loaded routing.
• CI/CD met Azure DevOps, Nx monorepos en trunk-based Git-workflows.
• Inzicht in Azure Cloud en REST-architecturen.

Responsibilities

• Ontwikkelen, onderhouden en optimaliseren van de Commodity purchase flow in Angular.
• Ondersteunen standalone Angular app en CMS-embedded componenten voor EPiServer.
• Koppelen met back-end services voor productselectie, offers, leads en order-API's.
• Ondersteunen data-driven CXO-experiments en A/B-tests met VWO.
• Schrijven van unit tests en Cypress E2E tests; bijdragen aan CI/CD.

The Front-End Developer is responsible for the design and implementation of the User interface. The Front-End Developer defines the web page design and structure; Develops features to enhance the users' experience; Finds a balance between functional and aesthetic design; Makes the web design is smartphone-capable; Builds reusable code for future use; Secures web pages are optimized for best speed and scalability; Employs a diverse selection of markup languages to design web pages; Keeps the brand consist throughout the whole design.

In this role, you will work in a dynamic environment where digital purchase journeys and commercial customer experience are central. As a Front-end Developer in the Sales Flow team, you take ownership of the Commodity purchase flow - the journey where customers configure and sign up for energy products on Vattenfall.nl and related channels. You collaborate closely with product, UX, and back-end stakeholders to deliver reliable, scalable, and conversion-focused sales experiences.

The team operates in an active architecture transition: from declarative flow configuration toward a central orchestrator model, with Commodity being extracted into its own feature library. Sustainability flows (solar, heat pump, insulation) are integrated but owned elsewhere; your focus stays on the core energy purchase journey. It is a dynamic environment where we need someone who is resilient under pressure, takes responsibility, and is willing to both give and receive feedback.

Responsabilitës

• Developing, maintaining, and optimizing the Commodity purchase flow in Angular, including product configuration, multi-step forms, and order submission.
• Building and supporting: a standalone Angular application and CMS-embedded Angular web components for EPiServer pages.
• Integrating with back-end services for product selection, offers, leads, address lookup, usage estimation, and order APIs.
• Support our data-driven CXO experiments for improving in the sales funnel. Coordinate and develop new A/B tests with our experimentation tool in VWO using feature flags.
• Write unit tests and collaborate with our QA colleague in building new Cypress E2E regression tests; contributing to CI/CD pipelines and releases across dev, tst, acc, and prd.
• Participating in several AI initiatives with our core AI / Nina team.
• Contributing to front-end standards and best practices within the Nx monorepo, including design system adoption and Tailwind migration.
• Collaborating with UX, platform, and back-end teams on API contracts, performance, accessibility, and production support.
• Challenging requirements and translating them into technically feasible, maintainable solutions.

Hard skills:

• Proven experience (Minumum 5 years) with Angular (v20+), TypeScript, SCSS, HTML5, and RxJS/Signals.
• Experience or interest in developing code with AI tools.
• Experience with state management (NGXS or similar) and REST/BFF integration patterns.
