Job summary

Conscious Hotels Utrecht is seeking a Front Office intern to support guest services, check-in guests, and share tips about Utrecht. You’ll learn front desk tasks while promoting sustainable guest experiences and brand values.

You’ll also help with breakfast service, coffee preparation, and guest interactions across shifts, gaining hospitality skills in a welcoming team at one of the Conscious Hotels locations.

Qualifications

• Passion for hotel industry and sustainability.
• Front Office internship of at least 5 months with 4–5 days per week.
• Willingness to experience all parts of hotel life and shifts.
• Good Dutch and English language skills.
• Prefer living in or near Utrecht.

Responsibilities

During your internship, you are the friendly face of the hotel during your shift. You’ll gain experience with a variety of front desk tasks, such as checking in guests and sharing helpful tips about Utrecht. You will also learn how to recommend sustainable products to guests.

You’ll have plenty of opportunities to interact with guests, improve your communication skills, and learn how to prepare a good coffee or tea. Our front desk is not the only place where you’ll learn new skills, you’ll also get experience making coffees and frothing milk for cappuccinos.

In addition, during your internship you will also support the breakfast service. You will assist the breakfast team member in serving breakfast dishes and beverages, ensure that the breakfast buffet remains tidy and well stocked, and help clear and clean tables. In this way, you contribute to giving our guests a pleasant start to their day.
