Role and Location

For our Exact Online Construction development team in Leeuwarden, we are looking for an enthusiastic, talented Front-End Engineer. Someone who gets excited about new ideas and techniques in the field of front-end development and ensures that the web application functions optimally on all modern browsers and devices.

Exact Online Construction is the leading cloud software for construction companies in the SMB sector. By digitizing activities both in the office and on the construction site, efficiency is increased, quality is improved, errors are prevented, and margins are maximized. The office and construction site use one central system where the accounting is fully integrated and seamless integrations exist with many business apps. To stay ahead in the market, we are rapidly expanding these functionalities, and we could use your help!

Team and Delivery

The Development department of Exact Online Construction is known for its creativity and innovative power, which enables it to translate the high demands of customers and the market into an easy-to-use web application with an attractive visual appearance. We consist of different SCRUM teams, for Front-End, Back-End, and Mobile, that work closely together and, together with our product managers, are responsible for the development of a part of the application.

Our teams are part of the Exact European Development Center (EDC), which consists of several hundred other technology colleagues in Europe (mainly in the Netherlands) and is part of the Exact Technology organization, together with the Exact Asian Development Center (ADC).

What you bring

• At least HBO level of thinking and working;
• A strong sense of responsibility and ownership;
• A positive attitude and the ability to be critical and thinks in solutions;
• Experience with Vue.js or a similar framework like React or Angular;
• Good knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Typescript;
• Knowledge of Web Components and Stencil is a plus;
• Experience with REST APIs;
• Experience with GIT;
• The ability to create a connection between design and technology and use your expertise and experience for better user experiences;
• Up-to-date with the latest Front-End techniques;
• Problem-solving skills using accepted best practices and principles such as SOLID and design patterns;
• Good communication skills in both Dutch and English.
