Job summary

Everience Benelux is seeking a Front-End Developer to drive the Commodity purchase flow on energy products, collaborating with product, UX and back-end teams. You will work in a dynamic Scrum environment during an architecture transition, focusing on resilient and scalable purchase journeys.

You will own Angular-based development, multi-step forms, and integration with APIs, while contributing to AI initiatives and front-end standards within the Nx monorepo.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience with Angular (v20+), TypeScript, SCSS, HTML5 and RxJS/Signals.
• Experience or interest in AI tools integration is a plus.
• Familiarity with state management (NGXS) and REST/BFF integration patterns.
• Experience with unit testing (Jest/Vitest) and E2E testing (Cypress).

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimize the Commodity purchase flow in Angular, including multi-step forms and order submission.
• Build and support a standalone Angular application and CMS-embedded Angular web components for EPiServer pages.
• Integrate with back-end services for product selection, offers, leads, address lookup, usage estimation, and order APIs.
• Coordinate and develop new A/B tests with VWO and feature flags.
• Write unit tests and contribute to Cypress E2E regression tests; support CI/CD pipelines.
• Contribute to front-end standards within the Nx monorepo, including Tailwind migration.
• Collaborate with UX, platform, and back-end teams on API contracts, performance, accessibility, and production support.
• Translate complex requirements into technically feasible, maintainable solutions.

Job Description

As a Front-End Developer, you will work in a dynamic environment where digital purchase journeys and commercial customer experience are central. As part of the Sales Flow team, you will take ownership of the Commodity purchase flow, the journey where customers configure and sign up for energy products on Vattenfall.nl and related channels. You will also collaborate closely with product, UX, and back-end stakeholders to deliver reliable, scalable, and conversion-focused sales experiences.

You will join a scrum team operating in an active architecture transition, moving from declarative flow configuration toward a central orchestrator model, with Commodity being extracted into its own feature library. Sustainability flows (solar, heat pump, insulation) are integrated but owned elsewhere, while your focus will remain on the core energy purchase journey. This is a dynamic environment where resilience, ownership, and openness to giving and receiving feedback are essential.

Your responsibilities include:

• Developing, maintaining, and optimizing the Commodity purchase flow in Angular, including product configuration, multi-step forms, and order submission.
• Building and supporting: a standalone Angular application and CMS-embedded Angular web components for EPiServer pages.
• Integrating with back-end services for product selection, offers, leads, address lookup, usage estimation, and order APIs.
• Support our data-driven CXO experiments for improving in the sales funnel. Coordinate and develop new A/B tests with our experimentation tool in VWO using feature flags.
• Write unit tests and collaborate with our QA colleague in building new Cypress E2E regression tests; contributing to CI/CD pipelines and releases across dev, tst, acc, and prd.
• Participating in several AI initiatives with our core AI / Nina team
• Contributing to front-end standards and best practices within the Nx monorepo, including design system adoption and Tailwind migration.
• Collaborating with UX, platform, and back-end teams on API contracts, performance, accessibility, and production support.
• Challenging requirements and translating them into technically feasible, maintainable solutions.

Qualifications

Hard skills:

• Proven experience (minimum 5 years) with Angular (v20+), TypeScript, SCSS, HTML5, and RxJS/Signals.
• Experience or interest in developing code with AI tools.
• Experience with state management (NGXS or similar) and REST/BFF integration patterns.
• Experience with unit testing (Jest/Vitest) and E2E testing (Cypress).
• Familiarity with web components (@angular/elements), and lazy-loaded routing.
• Experience with CI/CD (Azure DevOps), Nx monorepos, and trunk-based Git workflows.
• Understanding of Azure Cloud and REST-based architectures.
• Experience with analytics tagging (Relay, Adobe) and A/B testing tools (e.g., VWO) is a plus.
