Job summary

Reboot Monkey is seeking a Data Center Technician to join the Alkmaar, Netherlands data center, performing installation, configuration, and maintenance of server and network equipment on-site. The role includes structured cabling, hardware deployments, and proactive monitoring of power, cooling, and security systems.

3+ years of data center operations experience is expected, with preferred certifications in CDCP/CDCS/CDCE and vendor certifications.

Qualifications

• 3+ years data center operations experience.
• Experience with Cat6/6a, OM3/OM4/OS2 fiber.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in demanding environments.
• Excellent documentation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain server and network equipment.
• Perform structured cabling (copper and fiber optic).
• Execute hardware deployments and decommissions.
• Monitor environmental systems (power, cooling, security).
• Respond to incidents and perform troubleshooting.
• Maintain accurate documentation and asset tracking.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams.
• Participate in capacity planning and upgrades.
