Job summary

Huxley is seeking an Android and iOS Software Engineer to design, build, and maintain high quality iOS and Android applications. You will contribute to scalable mobile solutions using Swift for iOS and Kotlin for Android, with modern architectures.

You will write clean Swift code, apply MVVM or similar patterns, and collaborate on code reviews while delivering secure, performant mobile apps with automated tests.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with Swift and iOS/Android app development.
• Experience with UIKit and/or SwiftUI / Kotlin.
• Familiar with MVVM, MVC, Clean Architecture and REST APIs.
• Strong testing, Git, CI/CD, and performance monitoring basics.

As an Android and iOS Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining high quality iOS and Android applications within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain iOS and Android applications using modern development practices.
• Write clean, reusable, and maintainable Swift code.
• Refactor and improve existing codebases when necessary.
• Build and maintain automated tests to ensure software quality.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong experience with Swift and iOS and Android application development.
• Experience with UIKit and/or SwiftUI/ Kotlin.
• Knowledge of mobile application architecture patterns (MVVM, MVC, Clean Architecture). Experience working with RESTful APIs.
• Strong understanding of testing practices and test automation.
• Experience with Git and modern software development workflows. Understanding of CI/CD principles and deployment processes.
• Knowledge of mobile performance optimization and monitoring.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
