Are you a seasoned copywriterwith a sharp eye for tone, detail, and brand storytelling?

Do you instinctively craft copy that feels culturally relevant, emotionally engaging, and flawlessly on-brand?

Would you like to shape campaigns for an iconic, globally recognised tech brand?

We’re looking for a talented Senior Copywriter to join our Dutch team at OLIVER to deliver and maintain high-quality marketing copy for our key global clients. You will be responsible for all copy and messaging across various platforms and channels whilst staying true to the brand’s tone of voice.

Role: Freelance Senior Copywriter/Creative Director

Work Model: 100% remote

Workload: Around 10-30 hours per month (ad-hoc, no minimum guaranteed)

In this position you will be:

• Responsible for the delivery of transcreations (US English – target market) preserving the intended message, voice, and tone. Ensure the target copy is fluent, in line with the Brand’s personality and stylistically compelling.
• Write creative and compelling copy that resonates with the target audience and engages them (selected deliverables only).

Key Qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience in copywriting and translation, either Agency or Client side.
• Highly proficient in both Dutch and English.
• Excellent creative writing skills and ability to adapt writing styles and tone for different target audiences.
• Experience with translating marketing copy while maintaining brand voice and messaging.
• Knowledge of technical writing principles and ability to translate complex technical language into easy-to-understand copy.
• Familiarity with MT systems and evaluating MT output quality, is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and provide constructive feedback.
• Ideally with a Bachelor's/Master’s degree in a relevant field, such as Marketing, Communications, or Linguistics.
• Post-editing experience is a bonus.
