Job description

Do you want your analysis to actually change what a company does next? At Ovivio, you will sit at the centre of group FP&A reporting, forecasting, budgeting and scenario analysis for a fast-growing international SaaS business in a finance team that is genuinely building the future of finance with AI.

About Ovivio

Ovivio is a leading and innovative SaaS (Software as a Service) company focused on childcare and primary education. Our goal is to empower professionals to focus on their primary task: “the development of the new generation.” Our smart, user-friendly, and flexible software platform supports daycare centres and schools in areas like planning, personnel management, child development, and parent communication.

We are a fast-growing international company with a social purpose. With over 200 employees, we relieve and support organizations through our smart, user-friendly, and flexible products. We now serve more than 1 million children aged 0 to 12.

About the role

We are looking for a highly analytical and detail-oriented FP&A Analyst to join our Finance team in Almere. Reporting to the Finance Director, who leads FP&A and business partnering, you will play a critical part in driving financial visibility and supporting strategic decision-making through accurate reporting, forecasting, budgeting and scenario analysis.

The scope is group-wide. You will work across all of our countries with group functions and country leadership, including our local finance colleagues abroad rather than on a single market. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams in Data, Sales and Operations, providing actionable insight that shapes business strategy, and you will keep developing our AI native FP&A platform (DriveTrain) and Power BI reporting together with internal departments and our external BI partner.

We operate as one finance team: FP&A, Control and Accounting work from shared systems, standards and cycles rather than in separate silos. Your work connects directly to the actuals, which gives you exposure well beyond a pure planning role and a strong central team to learn from.

It also means we are serious about how finance work gets done. We are building an AI-supported finance function agents that reconcile AR, automate recurring checks and take the repetitive work out of the close and out of reporting. You will help identify what to automate next, support testing and validation, and spend the time it frees up where it matters: on the analysis and the recommendation.

This position is ideal for someone who is tech-savvy and thrives in a high-growth, fast-paced environment. Candidates with backgrounds in FP&A, corporate finance, investment banking or business consulting are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

Drive financial reporting & performance insights deliver monthly reporting, analyse key SaaS metrics and turn variances into clear business insights.

Own budgeting & forecasting support budgets, rolling forecasts, scenario analysis and financial modelling to guide strategic decisions.

Be a trusted business partner provide financial insight behind pricing, investments, hiring and other key business decisions.

Turn data into actionable insights use DriveTrain, ERP, SQL and Power BI to improve dashboards, data quality and scalable reporting.

Help shape the future of Finance work closely with Accounting and Control to automate processes, improve systems and explore practical AI applications in Finance.

What we’re looking for

We are looking for someone who is genuinely good with numbers and equally comfortable with people. You build the model, but you also walk into a room with a commercial lead and explain what it says without hiding behind the spreadsheet. You are curious, you ask why a number moved before anyone has to ask you, and you are a self-starter who does not need the work handed to you.

You are pragmatic about the work itself. In a scale-up finance team, some of it is not glamorous data that needs cleaning, a process that needs fixing, a source that does not reconcile. You fix it, and where you can, you automate it. A fast-moving, international, data-driven environment with shifting priorities suits you.

Must have:

A Master’s degree, or a Bachelor’s degree with equivalent relevant experience, in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field

3–6 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, investment banking or business consulting

A strong background in high-growth, fast-paced and data-driven environments B2B SaaS experience preferred

Solid understanding of SaaS business models and the key financial and operational metrics behind them

Tech-savvy, with advanced Excel and financial modelling skills you build models others can follow and pressure-test your own numbers

Comfortable working with ambiguous and incomplete data sources, and getting to a reliable answer anyway

Strong communication and interpersonal skills able to translate complex data into actionable insight for non-finance stakeholders

A self-starter, detail-oriented, and comfortable in a dynamic environment

Curious about AI and automation in finance no technical background needed, but you want to work alongside finance agents rather than around them

Fluent in English (Dutch is a plus, not a requirement)

Experience using and/or implementing FP&A tools, ERP systems and BI solutions

Working knowledge of SQL and hands-on experience building or maintaining Power BI reporting

Experience in an international group with multiple entities and currencies

Hands-on experience automating reporting or finance processes Power Query, scripting or AI tooling

Nice to have:

Exposure to investor reporting or the preparation of Board materials

Knowledge of revenue recognition and SaaS-specific accounting concepts

Exposure to M&A, due diligence or post-acquisition integration

Interest in childcare, education or purpose-driven businesses
