Job summary

Avery, located in Amsterdam, seeks an enthusiastic intern for an AI-native sales role. You will leverage AI tools to enhance your outreach efforts and engage directly with customers, all while gaining invaluable experience from the founder.

This role offers real responsibility right from the start, with opportunities to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment. Candidates must be fluent in Dutch and ideally possess skills in another European language.

Avery is a Hiring Intelligence Engine - AI agents that source, screen, and schedule, on a system that gets smarter with every hire. We're early-stage in Amsterdam with real paying customers, and we want someone who sells the way we build: AI-native.

You won't be dialing from a script and grinding a spreadsheet. You'll run outbound like a one-person growth team - using AI to research accounts, personalize outreach, and move faster than a whole SDR desk. Front-row seat to how we win our first customers, and 5% of every deal you close.

Tasks

• Run outreach across calls, WhatsApp, and Email - with AI drafting and prepping you for every conversation
• Build and run outbound experiments: let AI do the research, you bring the judgment and "you" (real person)
• Prep demos and follow-ups faster with AI, so your time goes to the human parts
• Learn what actually moves a deal - and teach the system what you learn

Requirements

• Driven and curious - about people and about AI
• Already living in AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, whatever you've made your own) and hungry to get sharper
• Not afraid to pick up the phone
• Dutch is a must (but with great results you can prove I'm wrong)
• Another European language is a plus
