Job summary

Harnham in Rotterdam seeks a founder-level AI lead to identify and deliver high-value AI initiatives across the business. You will own from ideation to deployment, collaborating with founders to shape pricing, content, product and internal tooling.

You will design production-grade AI systems, balance commercial impact with technical excellence, and drive the full lifecycle of AI projects in a fast-moving, autonomous environment at a profitable scale-up in the Netherlands.

Qualifications

• Strong experience building and deploying AI solutions in production environments.
• Proven commercial mindset with the ability to link technical work to business outcomes
• Background as a technical founder, early stage CTO or high impact builder in a startup or scale up
• Ability to operate independently without predefined roadmaps or structured briefs
• Track record of initiating, owning and delivering impactful projects end to end
• Strong understanding of modern AI tooling, including LLMs, agents and automation framework
• Comfortable working in a fast moving, ambiguous environment with a focus on execution

Responsibilities

• Identify high impact business problems and translate them into AI driven solutions
• Define the commercial case for what should be built, focusing on revenue, margin and efficiency gains
• Design, build and deploy production grade AI systems across pricing, content, product and internal tooling
• Own the full lifecycle from idea through to deployment, measurement and iteration
• Work directly with founders on critical initiatives and strategic direction
• Continuously prioritise the highest leverage problems to maximise business impac
• Build scalable, cost efficient systems with strong awareness of LLM economics and architecture
