Job summary

Rotterdam Incijfers zoekt een hands-on operator voor op locatie in Rotterdam. U bedient dagelijks een vorkheftruck met bale clamp en voert laden/lossen uit van vrachtwagens. Balenvulling, stapelen en transporteren van papier en plastic komen aan bod, met nadruk op veiligheid en nauwkeurigheid.

De rol vereist ervaring met vorkheftrucks, een geldig certificaat en bij voorkeur ervaring in (papier) recycling. Een fulltime dienstverband en een no-nonsense werkomgeving kenmerken de positie.

Qualifications

• Vorkheftruckervaring en geldige certificering.
• Ervaring met bale clamp is een pluspunt.
• Ervaring in (papier) recycling.
• Beschikbaarheid voor een fulltime dienst.
• Veilig, nauwkeurig en zelfstandig werken.
• In staat om overzicht te behouden in een dynamische omgeving.
• Gemotiveerd, betrouwbaar en hands-on.
• Voldoende Nederlands en/of Engels om veilig te communiceren.

Responsibilities

• Bedienen van een vorkheftruck met bale clamp.
• Laden en lossen van vrachtwagens.
• Pallets en balen papier en plastic verplaatsen en stapelen.
• Containers laden.
• Materialen verplaatsen op de locatie.
• Controleren of balen veilig opgeslagen zijn.

Description

In this role, you will operate a forklift equipped with a bale clamp on a daily basis. Your responsibilities include:

• Operating a forklift with a bale clamp
• Loading and unloading trucks
• Picking up, moving, and stacking bales of paper and plastic
• Loading containers
• Moving materials to the correct location on site
• Checking that bales are stored safely and securely
• Performing daily checks on the forklift
• Reporting any irregularities or unsafe situations
• Keeping your work area clean, safe, and organized
• Assisting with other tasks on site as needed

You work independently and maintain an overview, even when things get busy. Safety and accuracy are always your top priorities.

You will join a large organization that collects, sorts, and processes waste and raw materials. At the Rotterdam location, large volumes of paper and plastic arrive daily. These materials are compressed into bales and prepared for further processing and reuse. Requirements

• Experience operating a forklift and a valid forklift certificate
• Experience working with a bale clamp is a plus
• Experience in (paper) recycling
• Available to work full-time
• Works safely, accurately, and independently
• Able to maintain an overview in a dynamic environment
• Motivated, reliable, and hands‑on
• Sufficient Dutch and/or English language skills to work and communicate safely

Our offer

• Salary between €2,718 and €3,307 gross per month based on 40 hours, depending on your experience and placement
• Employment conditions according to the Beroepsgoederenvervoer collective labor agreement
