Job summary

SHV Holdings NV seeks a forklift operator to receive, handle and control incoming raw materials and goods, ensuring deliveries match the purchase orders and packing slips and are in good condition.

You will verify lading, record quality data in the system, store items in prescribed locations, conduct periodic inventory counts, and assist production by delivering materials on time while upholding strict safety and quality standards in the Netherlands.

Responsibilities

• Check receipts on appearance and on the basis of lading and packing slip; report defects to supervisor
• Mark lading, and record of receipt and quality data in the system
• Stores of raw materials, packaging materials, finished goods and pallets by a forklift truck in prescribed locations while meeting safety requirements
• Conducts inventory counts, periodically comparing actual stock with the administrative inventory, detect and report deviations
• Transportation of raw materials, packaging materials, supplies, finished products and waste to and from production departments to ensure timely availability
• May perform various manual operational activities and/or operate basic machinery/tools; perform basic checks and controls on materials
• Keeps rolling stock and workplace clean; complies with HSE and quality standards; reports defects and deviations to supervisor
