Hotelprofessionals - Park Plaza Victoria Amsterdam is seeking a Food and Beverage Operational Intern to assist with daily operations, enhancing guest experiences. You will deliver high-quality service while gaining hands-on experience across various outlets.

This full-time internship starts in September 2026, lasting at least 5 months. Candidates should be passionate about hospitality and enrolled in a relevant study program. You will receive a monthly allowance of €550 and various employee benefits, including discounts and learning opportunities.

As a Food and Beverage Operational Intern, you become part of the daily operation, delivering service on the floor while ensuring every guest enjoys a smooth and memorable experience. This hands‑on role allows you to build strong operational skills across restaurant, bar, breakfast, and events, while gaining insight into how exceptional service drives guest satisfaction.

This internship starts in September 2026 and offers a full‑time learning experience for a minimum of 5 months, aligned with your study requirements.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality service across restaurant, bar, breakfast, and events
• Welcome guests with a warm and professional approach
• Support mise en place, service preparation, and closing duties
• Explain menus, suggest options, and support guests with dietary requirements
• Ensure cleanliness, presentation, and service standards are consistently maintained
• Work closely with the kitchen and team to ensure smooth service flow
• Stay flexible and support different outlets depending on business needs
• Contribute to creating a positive and energetic team environment

Essential Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a hospitality, hotel management, or related study program
• Strong communication skills in English, written and spoken
• Passion for food, drinks, and guest service
• Hands‑on and proactive attitude
• Flexible and eager to learn in a dynamic environment
• Availability for an internship of at least 5 months
• Eligible to complete an internship in the Netherlands

Preferred Requirements

• Previous experience or strong interest in Food and Beverage or hospitality
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
• Attention to detail and a service‑oriented mindset
• Dutch or any additional language is an advantage
