Job summary

HTM MMI in Venray is seeking an FMS Operator / CNC Operator to join a modern two-shift production environment. You’ll operate three large Okuma horizontal machining centres connected to an automated pallet system.

CNC programming experience is not required; good technical understanding, independence, and a willingness to learn are valued. You’ll set up and operate the FMS line, load materials, monitor the machining process, and ensure correct tools and setups.

Qualifications

• Experience in CNC machining or another technical production environment.
• Knowledge of machining tools and workholding techniques.
• Ability to read technical drawings and CNC programs.
• Independent, proactive and eager-to-learn attitude.
• Good physical fitness and a hands-on approach.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate the FMS line, loading materials and positioning them correctly.
• Monitor the machining process and ensure correct tools, fixtures and setups are used.
• Inspect machined components, deburr finished products and verify quality standards.
• Identify deviations or malfunctions and involve colleagues for support as needed.
• Work in a physically demanding role and support milling or turning when required.

Do you enjoy working with CNC machines, automated systems and technically challenging products? Join HTM MMI in Venray as an FMS Operator / CNC Operator and work in a modern two-shift production environment.

You’ll operate three large Okuma horizontal machining centres connected to an automated pallet system. CNC programming experience is not required. Good technical understanding, independence and a willingness to learn are more important.

This is what your working day looks like

You’ll set up and operate the FMS line, which has approximately 60 machine pallets and 60 material locations. You’ll load and position materials, monitor the machining process and ensure the correct tools, fixtures and setups are used.

Using technical drawings and CNC programs, you’ll inspect machined components, deburr finished products and check that they meet the required quality standards. You’ll identify deviations and malfunctions, resolve minor technical issues and involve colleagues when additional support is needed.

This is a physically demanding and active job. You’ll spend much of your shift on your feet, move between workstations and handle materials and products. When the FMS line is quieter, you’ll support the milling or turning departments.
