Job summary

Exclusive Networks is seeking a Financial Controller in the Netherlands to oversee efficient financial administration and month-end closing. You will manage the general ledger, intercompany reconciliations, and monthly reporting within a fast-paced, global organization.

Key requirements include a Finance/Accounting degree, 2–5 years of relevant experience, ERP proficiency, and strong analytical skills. English fluency is mandatory; Dutch is a plus.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Financial Controller, you are responsible for ensuring an efficient and accurate financial administration. You will manage the general ledger accounting and month-end closing processes. In addition, you will ensure that accurate information is available for monthly reporting. You will also be responsible for intercompany reconciliations and preparing tax filings. You are able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment. As a Financial Controller, your responsibilities include:

• Supporting the Financial Manager in preparing and analyzing financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.
• Reviewing and processing invoices, payments, and other financial transactions.
• Performing monthly reconciliation of intercompany transactions.
• Assisting with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Conducting financial analyses to identify trends, variances, and opportunities.
• Contributing to the development and implementation of internal control procedures and policies.
• Supporting the preparation of tax returns and ensuring compliance with tax regulations.
• Contributing to ad hoc projects and continuous improvement initiatives within the finance team.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

About You the ideal Financial Controller has:

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• At least 2 to 5 years of experience in a similar role or within an accounting firm.
• Extensive knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
• Experience working with ERP systems.
• Strong analytical skills, accuracy, and attention to detail, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluency in English is mandatory, spoken and written.
• Fluency in Dutch is highly appreciated, but not mandatory.
• Availability to work between 32 and 40 hours per week.
