Job summary

PwC Amsterdam is seeking a finance-focused consultant to join a multidisciplinary team delivering finance transformation and digital reporting improvements. You will work with IFRS changes, IPO readiness, carve-outs and ERP transformations, building expertise in finance, reporting and technology from day one.

You will support digital reporting using tools like Workiva, LucaNet and ERP-based solutions, collaborating with finance leaders and IT teams. English and Dutch fluency are required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics or Information Management.
• Affinity with accounting and financial reporting (IFRS/Dutch GAAP) and finance processes.
• Interest in applying technology, data and digital tools in day-to-day work; SQL or Power BI is a plus.
• Fluency in both English and Dutch.

Responsibilities

• Support finance transformation programs related to IFRS changes, IPO readiness, carve-outs, M&A and reporting modernization.
• Assist in the preparation and validation of digital reports (XBRL, ESEF, SBR) and supporting clients with digital reporting.
• Assist implementations of disclosure management and ERP-based reporting platforms (Workiva, LucaNet) through configuration testing and data validation.
• Document and analyse finance and reporting processes, propose improvements in design, data flows and controls.
• Analyze financial data using Excel, SQL or Power BI with audit trails for workshops and client sessions.
