The Project Manager is responsible for governance and project management initiatives within the Horizontal program team. The role partners with various teams within the department to support and proactively facilitate work between teams, business units and centralised functions.

The Project Manager is responsible for governance and project management initiatives within the Horizontal program team. The role partners with various teams within the department to support and proactively facilitate work between teams, business units and centralised functions.
The Project Manager supports teams in scoping and planning projects by documenting project goals, KPIs, roadmaps and key deliverables. They ensure projects are managed consistently across the department, working closely with business units and central functions to build engagement and provide governance where decisions require formal sign‑off.
In some cases, the role involves working with external vendors and managing external stakeholders. The Project Manager helps teams mitigate project risks and dependencies, ensuring progress towards milestones. Above all, the role ensures roadmaps and plans focus on agreed business priorities, dependencies and strategies, designed based on data and business needs, and delivered against shared objectives and goals.


Key Responsibilities

• Apply structured methodology and lead project and change management activities
• Own successful delivery of the end‑to‑end project lifecycle
• Lead low to medium complexity, cross‑functional projects with global impact (with supervision)
• Apply change management tools and processes to support adoption of project outcomes
• Engage and influence stakeholders up to Director level
• Collaborate with business units and corporate support teams to drive enterprise strategy execution
• Contribute to project scoping and planning (goals, KPIs, roadmap, deliverables)
• Track and report progress; create clear planning documentation
• Ensure proper project closure and handover to Business as Usual
• Manage risks, dependencies and external vendors where applicable

Required Experience

• Strong SAP experience, preferably S/4HANA and RISE
• Finance domain experience
• ERP implementation experience
• Ability to work effectively with senior stakeholders
