Job summary

Cefetra Group BV in 's-Hertogenbosch is seeking a Finance Officer to ensure reliable financial administration and execute daily financial processes. You will process invoices, manage accounts payable and receivable, and prepare VAT returns while contributing to the evolution of financial processes.

This position offers a salary between €2,800 and €3,800, depending on experience, along with 28 vacation days and opportunities for personal development in an informal working environment.

To support our growth, we are looking for a Finance Officer who ensures reliable financial administration and the careful execution of our daily financial processes. You are an important link within the finance team and work closely with colleagues from Finance, Trade, Logistics and Quality. In this role, you contribute to an efficient finance organization and identify opportunities to further improve and optimize processes.

The job

As a Finance Officer, you ensure that our financial administration is reliable and up to date, while supporting the organization’s daily financial processes. Your responsibilities include processing purchase and sales invoices, managing accounts receivable and accounts payable processes, preparing VAT returns, processing bank and credit card transactions, and executing payments. In addition, you support the monitoring of credit limits and provide input for management reports. You will also have the opportunity to help make processes smarter, more automated and further improve their quality. Thanks to the varied nature of the role, you will develop a broad understanding of our financial processes and make an important contribution to supporting our international trading activities.

You are accurate, analytical and have an eye for detail. In addition, you look beyond the administration itself and enjoy contributing ideas on how processes can be made smarter, more efficient and better structured. You take responsibility for your work, ask critical questions and enjoy working with colleagues from different disciplines.

• You have completed a degree in Accountancy, Finance & Control, Business Economics, Business Administration or Financial Administration, or you have gained relevant experience within a financial or accounting environment.
• You have knowledge of financial administration, including accounts receivable, accounts payable and general ledger processes.
• You are accurate, proactive and solution-oriented.
• You have a good command of both Dutch and English and regularly communicate with international colleagues, customers and suppliers.
• You have an affinity with financial systems, automation and process improvement.
