Responsibilities

  • Überwachung der Rechnungsstellung, monatlicher POs und Umsatzsteuererklärungen.
  • Entwicklung interner Kontrollverfahren zur Verbesserung des Abschlussprozesses.
  • Koordination der Lohnabrechnung für NL und UK mit externen Anbietern.

The Finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day financial administration, office administration, pension, and payroll activities of the company. They will ensure that all accounting and reporting functions are fulfilled.

The Finance Manager will also be instrumental in upcoming projects related to audit-readiness, enhancing the SAP structure to support new business opportunities, and developing new internal control policies.

Responsibilities:
Finance for Legal Entities:
  • Oversee the invoicing process (approvals and payments)
  • Manage the Monthly POs
  • Manage the sales invoice process when requested
  • Manage the VAT declaration process
  • Support requests related to annual statements for all entities
  • Coordinate payrolling for NL and UK with external payroll providers and post payroll entries in SAP
  • Manage relations with distribution vendors regarding invoicing and inventory
  • Liaise with external parties such as auditors, HR support, and distributors
  • Assist in preparing the yearly budget
  • Manage the monthly closing process
  • Report actual versus budget realization
  • Liaise with HQ functions: Corporate Finance, Commercial Operations, HR, Legal, Medical on various projects and activities
  • Ensure accurate and timely Intrastat/CBS reporting
Project activities:
  • Develop administrative procedures for new business activities
  • Develop actual-to-forecast reconciliation processes
  • Enhance SAP reporting structures to support decision-making in Commercial Operations
  • Develop internal control procedures to improve the closing process
  • Support the business in developing new activities
Requirements:
  • 5-10 years of accounting/financial experience
  • Experience in an international pharmaceutical company is preferable
  • Fluent in English (verbal and written)
  • Experience with payroll processing is preferable
  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP) and Microsoft Office
