Job summary

B&S in Groningen invites a Finance Trainee to join the Financial Accounting team. You will process invoices, bank statements, and assist with accounts payable and receivable while ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance.

The program focuses on learning core finance processes, preparing monthly closings, and gaining visibility across the business. Working 40 hours per week with some remote days, you will be part of a young, ambitious team and may have a path to a future with B&S.

Qualifications

• Must have some work experience in a financial department (pre)
• Strong command of Dutch and English (writing and speaking)
• Education in Finance at MBO 4/HBO required

• Process bank statements

Push your boundaries as Finance Trainee

As a Finance Trainee, you will support the Financial Accounting team and take care of the processing of invoices, bank statements, etc. You will also be responsible for the accounts receivable and accounts payable, as well as the reliability and accuracy of the information and compliance with relevant laws and regulations. During your internship you will learn about the effectiveness and efficiency of key business processes and contribute to their optimization so that work not only becomes easier but also more enjoyable.

In addition, you will help with:

• Organize and perform the financial administration(including accounts receivable and accounts payable management - reconciliation register)
• Check and process purchase invoices
• Processing bank statements
• Taking care of payments
• Assist in preparing monthly and year-end closings

• Have relevant work experience in a financial department (pre)
