Job summary

KLG Europe Venlo B.V. is a logistics service provider. In this position, you play an important role in booking and processing invoices, creating and monitoring creditor accounts, supporting the Financial Controller, and preparing reports.

As a Finance Employee, your critical eye allows you to see and analyze everything that takes place within KLG Europe Venlo. You’ll be working in a stable and experienced team where onboarding is smooth and colleagues stay long-term, with room for training,

Qualifications

• MBO Level 4 education in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience in the logistics sector is a plus, but not required.
• Strong analytical skills and numerical insight.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain creditor accounts.
• Enter purchase rates related to the automatic allocation of costs.
• Book and process purchase and transport invoices.
• Follow up on and analyze opportunities to reduce invoices within the workflow.
• Prepare payment lists and enter payment proposals.
• Post bank statements and process bank transactions.
• Monitor and reconcile clearing accounts.
• Process ad hoc intercompany recharges.
• Prepare reports on turnover figures and shipment volumes.
• Provide support to the Financial Controller.
• Provide administrative support for projects.
• Act as a back-up for accounts receivable monitoring and collection activities.
• Contribute ideas and actively participate in periodic department meetings.

Your profile

• You have completed an MBO Level 4 education in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field;
• Experience in the logistics sector is a plus, but not required;
• You are eager to learn, accurate, and critical;
• You have strong analytical skills and numerical insight;
• You are able to work independently, in a structured manner, and are proficient in Microsoft Office.
