Job summary

Numeriq seeks a Finance Data Analyst to bridge finance and data. You’ll extract data from ERP, billing, CRM and banks, build clean datasets and reconcile to the trial balance. You’ll deliver monthly packs, forecast forward from actuals and craft concise explanations with initial recommendations.

Engagement is contract, hybrid, with a fixed monthly fee against deliverables. Starts with a paid trial task and a one-month pilot. Strong SQL, Excel and data modeling are required.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years in accounting, audit, controlling or FP&A.
• Solid grasp of reconciliations, month-end close and consolidation, with good judgment.
• SQL skills: joins, aggregations, window functions, CTEs.
• Advanced Excel with Power Query.
• Data modeling: grain, keys, fact and dimension tables.
• Ability to build and maintain a scheduled data refresh.
• Clear written English and overlap with Central European hours.

Responsibilities

• Pull financial and operational data from ERP, billing, CRM and bank systems and automate it where possible.
• Build clean datasets, join ledger data to operational drivers, and maintain mappings.
• Reconcile to trial balance and bank, build checks for duplicates, FX issues and intercompany mismatches.
• Deliver monthly reporting packs and consolidations, roll forecasts forward, and explain movements with recommendations.
• Create templates from recurring work to speed up future engagements.
