Job summary

Hunkemöller invites you to join the Best Internship in Retail (BIIR) program starting February 2027. You’ll join 50+ interns in a structured experience combining finance, analytics and business training within an international environment.

You’ll support monthly closes, cost reporting and performance analysis while gaining hands-on exposure to budgeting, auditing, and financial processes. A 5‑month commitment is required with flexible WFH options and a strong student community.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a WO or HBO degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to numerical accuracy.
• Proficient in Excel and comfortable handling financial data.
• Excellent communication skills in English, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Support monthly and year-end closing processes.
• Assist with year-end audit by gathering required information.
• Contribute to monthly reporting and analysis of financial performance.
• Prepare and analyze monthly cost reports (actuals vs budget).
• Support initiatives to improve financial processes and data quality.
• Assist Controlling with ad-hoc analyses and projects.
