Qogita is seeking a Finance Associate to own month-end close activities and key financial processes, partnering with internal stakeholders to improve operations. This is a growth-focused role in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

You will manage journal entries, reconciliations, and ad-hoc analyses, while supporting audits and payroll processes. Hybrid work and ongoing learning opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in accounting, finance, or a similar role.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with shifting priorities and tight deadlines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a methodical approach.
• Solid understanding of double-entry bookkeeping, accruals, and core accounting principles.
• Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets; experience with ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, Exact or similar).
• Clear and confident communicator able to explain financial concepts to non-finance colleagues.
• Self-starter who takes ownership and follows through without close supervision.
• Collaborative team player with a continuous improvement mindset.

Responsibilities

• Own and execute month-end close workstreams end-to-end with accurate postings.
• Prepare and post journal entries with full supporting documentation.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and escalate discrepancies.
• Assist in preparing monthly management accounts and financial statements.
• Own defined financial processes (AP/AR, bank reconciliations, intercompany).
• Reconcile sub-ledgers to the general ledger and resolve discrepancies.
• Process invoices, payments, and expense claims per policy.
• Support internal and external audits with workpapers and schedules.
• Maintain and improve SOPs and control checklists.
• Support end-to-end payroll processing and reconciliations.
