Job summary
Virtuagym in Amsterdam is seeking a Finance Intern to join our international, tech-driven Finance team. You’ll contribute to daily finance operations, support automation and reporting initiatives, and gain exposure to a modern SaaS finance function—from collections and reconciliations to insights and process optimization.
This internship is built for someone eager to do more than observe from day one, taking on meaningful responsibilities and growing within a fast-growing scale-up.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Admin.
- Fluent English; Dutch language skills advantageous.
- Available for 5–6 months starting Nov/Dec 2026.
Responsibilities
- Own Accounts Receivable: invoicing, payments, and collections while maintaining client relationships.
- Collaborate across finance and cross-functional teams to maintain data integrity and support reporting.
- Lead process improvement: identify inefficiencies and help automate workflows.
- Innovate with technology by partnering with Automation Engineers to improve finance operations.
- Master financial systems: gain hands-on with NetSuite, Stripe, and Salesforce.
- Grow in a dynamic role blending finance, systems thinking and strategic problem-solving.
