Job summary

Nutreco, a global leader in animal nutrition and aquaculture, seeks a Financial Administrator for its Shared Service Centre in Boxmeer. You will ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices across multiple European entities.

The role focuses on accounts payable, data accuracy, VAT treatment, and contributing to ongoing digitalisation of finance processes. English communication is essential; Dutch is a plus.

Qualifications

• Education at MBO+ or HBO level.
• Experience in finance, accounting, bookkeeping, administration, or a related field.
• Interest in digital processes, financial systems, and continuous improvement.
• Basic knowledge of VAT and financial administration principles.
• Good communication skills in English; Dutch is an advantage but not required.

Responsibilities

• Process and validate supplier invoices using digital Accounts Payable systems.
• Investigate and resolve invoice exceptions that require manual review.
• Support payment processing activities and contribute to month-end financial processes.
• Review financial data for accuracy and ensure correct coding and VAT treatment.
• Work with automated workflows and continuously improve data quality and process efficiency.
• Collaborate with colleagues, suppliers, and stakeholders across several European countries.
• Contribute to the ongoing digitalisation and improvement of finance processes within the Shared Service Centre.
• Identify opportunities to improve ways of working and support future automation initiatives.
