Qualifications

  • 2-4 years of relevant experience in Accounts Payable or similar finance role, preferably international.
  • Strong understanding of supplier invoicing and payments processing.
  • Experience in month-end and year-end closing activities.

Job description

Flow Traders is looking for a Finance Administrator - Accounts Payable - to join our dynamic Finance team in our Amsterdam office. This is a unique opportunity to join a leading proprietary trading firm with an entrepreneurial and innovative culture at the heart of its business. In this role, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of supplier invoices and payments across the EMEA region, including supporting month-end closing, while maintaining strong internal and external stakeholder relationships.

What you will do
  • Process, validate, and post supplier invoices in line with company policies and controls
  • Manage payment runs, ensuring suppliers are paid accurately and on time
  • Reconcile vendor accounts, resolve discrepancies, and manage queries with suppliers and internal teams
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities, including accruals and reconciliations
  • Monitor Accounts Payable mailbox and workflow tools to ensure timely response and processing
  • Maintain compliance with internal controls and local regulations
  • Partner with procurement and business stakeholders to improve P2P processes
  • Provide backup support within the Accounts Payable team to ensure continuity during absences and peak periods
  • Assist with audits and ad hoc reporting as required
What you need to succeed
  • Degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent
  • 2-4 years of relevant experience in Accounts Payable or similar finance role, preferably in an international environment
  • Experience with ERP systems (Exact Globe, Exact Synergy) and strong Excel skills
  • Knowledge of EMEA VAT and compliance requirements is a plus
