Rolls-Royce Solutions Benelux in the Benelux (central Netherlands) is seeking a Field Service Engineer - Gas (m/f) for a full-time 40-hour week to join our Gas Team. You will maintain gas engines and gensets, and work with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal performance.

The role requires a technical degree, knowledge of gas engines and control systems, and good reporting in English; travel within the Benelux is expected.

Qualifikationen

• Completed degree (min. MBO3-4) in a technical direction, preferably engine related.
• 2-5 years of work experience in gas engines, gensets or electrical systems.
• Knowledge of control and automation systems.
• Good reporting skills in English.
• Customer-focused, a team player, able to work independently.

Aufgaben

• Analyze performance, reliability and integrity of gas engines and generator sets.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical components and control systems.
• Diagnose and resolve system failures and document findings in service reports.
• Inspect engines and equipment and verify solutions for wear or obsolescence.
• Perform fault diagnosis using advanced diagnostic tools and engine monitoring systems.

For our Gas Team in the Benelux (work area central Netherlands), we are looking for a: Field Service Engineer - Gas (m/f) (Fulltime | 40 hours). In the role of Field Service Engineer, you maintain a strong overview of complex gas engine systems and their associated mechanical, control, and automation components. Working closely with a multidisciplinary team of engineers, you play a key role in ensuring that our gas engines and gensets achieve and maintain optimal performance. This requires a solid understanding of gas engine operation, combustion, and control systems, as well as the ability to identify practical and effective solutions within defined technical boundaries.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and ensure the performance, reliability, and integrity of gas engines, generator sets, and related systems
• perform preventive and corrective maintenance on both mechanical engine components and control systems
• Diagnose and resolve system failures of a mechanical, electronic, or control-related nature, and document findings and solutions in clear service reports
• Inspect the material condition of engines, auxiliary systems, and equipment, and verify engineering solutions to address wear, aging, or obsolescence issues
• Perform accurate fault diagnosis and service activities using advanced diagnostic tools and engine monitoring systems

Your Competences

• Completed degree (min. MBO3-4) in a technical direction, preferably engine related;
• At least 2-5 years of work experience, preferably in a comparable environment (Knowledge of gas engines, gensets or electrical system of gensets)
• Technical knowledge and experience in the field of control and automation systems
• Ability to work with computers, electronic control systems and measuring equipment; Good reporting skills in English language
• Customer-friendly and solution-oriented, a team player, the ability to work independently, a professional appearance, communicative and correct.
