Job summary

Amica Technology is looking for a Field Service Engineer to install, commission and service our advanced UV printing systems for customers around the world.

The role combines hands-on engineering with travel: one week in Germany, the next supporting a customer remotely from Almere, or preparing a machine for shipment. You’ll train customers, troubleshoot on site, and work with engineering, sales and production to ensure robust, reliable machines.

Qualifications

• Experience in mechanical, electrical, or mechatronic engineering.
• Hands-on, independent problem-solver.
• Fluent in English.
• Valid driving licence.
• Willingness to travel internationally.

Responsibilities

• Installing and commissioning our printing systems.
• Performing maintenance and repairs at customer sites.
• Troubleshooting technical issues remotely.
• Training customers to operate and maintain their machines.
• Testing and preparing new machines before delivery.

At Amica Technology, we're a small international team developing advanced UV digital printing systems for customers around the world. As more of our printers are installed globally, we're looking for a Field Service Engineer to help our customers get the very best from their machines.

This isn't a typical workshop job. One week you could be installing a new printer in Germany, the next you're supporting a customer remotely from our office in Almere or preparing a machine for shipment.

What you'll be doing

You'll become the technical expert our customers rely on by:

• Installing and commissioning our printing systems
• Performing maintenance and repairs at customer sites
• Troubleshooting technical issues remotely
• Training customers to operate and maintain their machines
• Testing and preparing new machines before delivery
• Working closely with our engineering, sales, and production teams
• Helping improve our products by sharing customer feedback

We're looking for someone who

• Enjoys solving technical problems
• Has experience in mechanical, electrical, or mechatronic engineering
• Is hands-on and enjoys working independently
• Speaks English confidently
• Holds a valid driving licence
• Is willing to travel internationally
• Likes working in a small team where everyone contributes
